Help Save Stan could not happen without the support and assistance of our site Event Volunteers.
Each year we require volunteers to assist in ensuring the event runs smoothly and efficiently. Once you have registered, you will be contacted and asked to fill one of the following volunteer opportunities:
Welcome and Registration Desk
Responsible for registering and signing out of facilitators, coordinators, staff volunteers, and students by verifying registrations, providing appropriates documents and answering questions.
Event Guides
Event Guides lead the flow of students between simulations, and to and from the satellite locations. These volunteers need to be familiar with the event location. Event Guides liaise with event planners, are available to answer questions and direct students.
Facilitator Lounge Coordinators
Assists with Facilitator and Simulation Coordinator registration and sign out, monitors the Facilitator Lounge (Simulation Coordinators and Facilitators) throughout the day, including monitoring personal effects, catering set up and monitoring, liaising with event planners and responding to questions.
Communications Assistants
Assists the Communications Team on event day with taking photos, tweeting event updates/information and speaking with students about their days experience.
Research Assistants
Assists the Research Committee Team on event day with handing out research documents, answering questions and assisting with collection of information throughout the day.
