Who is Stan?
The name Stan represents all persons featured in Help! Save Stan simulation scenarios.
How do I Save Stan?
Stan, in all HSS virtual events, is a standardized patient: professional actors hired and trained to play specific roles within a simulated event. HELP! Save Stan is not focused on treatment or technical skills but is a safe, supportive, interactive learning environment to practice your interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills.

Who will facilitate the learning experience?
You will learn in a safe, realistic environment; and gain valuable feedback from facilitators who are health team members and/or educators in the health professions.
How will I prepare for the event?
For best learning outcomes, all facilitators and students must prepare in advance by completing an online eLearning module.

How will I sign up for the event?
